ΒΆ Link a Monitor to a Position

Monitors may be linked to existing positions that do not currently have a monitor linked to them. The monitoring position may already have historic data in them from a time when it had previously had a monitor linked to it. When a new monitor is linked to the position, data will be pushed to the cloud and appear associated with this monitoring position going forward in time.

- Navigate to the Monitors page by clicking Manage Montors >> Monitors in the main menu:
- You will be presented with a list of the monitors that you have on your account separated into Linked and Unlinked lists. Find the monitor you wish to link to a position and click Edit:
- Navigate to the Monitor Position group and change the Project, Site and Position to the monitoring position you wish to link the monitor to.
- Click Submit to save the changes. The monitor will now appear in the linked list.
If the monitor you have just linked is switched-on, data will begin being pushed to the cloud and should appear in Detailed View within a couple of calculation intervals.
